About the Landscape Construction Foreman

The Landscape Construction Foreman builds what the plans show. Ecoleaf works from drawings supplied by Perth architects and landscape designers, so the foreman reads the plan first, then sets out the site. Garden design and installation, play area development and communal outdoor living spaces all run through this role. Levels, drainage and access are checked before any planting or turf goes down.

Planting is a large part of the job. The foreman handles tube stock, shrubs, hedges and advanced trees, and places each one to the planting plan. Turf installation follows once beds and edges are finished. Crews also join large council tree planting programs across Perth.

• Manages turf installation and site clean up before handover

Handover matters as much as the build. The foreman walks the finished site, checks plant spacing, mulch depth and turf joins, then books the first maintenance visit. Rubbish and green waste leave site under environmental regulations. Clients get a clean, finished space.
