Arborist

Prunes and assesses trees on parks, streetscapes and school grounds, using safe arboricultural methods.

About the Arborist

The Arborist looks after trees on every Ecoleaf site. Tree pruning and arboricultural works cover council parks, streetscapes, school grounds and private business sites. Each tree is assessed before work starts, so cuts suit the species and the season. Deadwood and damaged limbs come out first. Pruning improves clearance over paths, roads and play areas, and keeps canopies in good shape for the years ahead.

Advanced tree planting is the other half of this role. The Arborist helps choose stock, checks root condition and sets planting depth on large council programs. Staking, mulching and early watering plans follow. Young trees then get checked through their first seasons.

  • Assesses tree health, structure and clearance before pruning
  • Carries out pruning on parks, streetscapes and school grounds
  • Plants and establishes advanced trees on council programs

Green waste from tree work is removed and disposed of under environmental regulations. The Arborist also flags trees that need follow up, so clients can plan the next round. Steady tree care supports the Ecoleaf mission, Creating a Greener Future.
