About the service

Some areas are better weeded by hand. Play areas, sensory gardens, vegetable patches and beds under windows all fall into that group. Our crews work along each bed and pull weeds out at the root. Nothing is sprayed, so childcare centres and aged care facilities can keep using the space while we work.

What’s included?

We work bed by bed. Weeds come out with the root, so they are slower to return. Edges are cleaned back to the mulch line and mulch is levelled across the bed. All pulled material leaves with the crew. Your grounds staff do not need to move anything afterwards.

Hand weeding suits sites where residents, children or visitors are present through the day. It also suits new plantings, where young roots sit close to the surface.
